Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with Westfield Mayor Michael McCabe, West Springfield Mayor William Reichelt, and Agawam Mayor William Sapelli this morning at Springfield’s beautiful Franconia Golf Course for the Spirit of Springfield’s Golf Classic and the Annual Mayor’s Cup putting contest. Mayor Sarno started off with the lead and ended up taking 2nd place overall in this year’s putting contest between four Western Mass Mayors. Agawam Mayor William Sapelli was the winner.

Mayor Sarno stated, “I had a great time this morning with my fellow mayors at the Spirit of Springfield’s Golf Classic competing for the annual Mayor’s Cup right here at our beautiful Franconia Golf course. I had my best showing yet coming in second place behind Agawam Mayor Bill Sapelli. Thank you to Spirit of Springfield and all who make this great annual event possible. Good luck to all the golfers competing in the Classic today!”
