Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined with the Springfield Vietnamese Cultural Association to commemorate the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Day with a special celebration event on Sunday, June 25th.

Mayor Sarno states, “I am honored to once again join with the Springfield Vietnamese Cultural Association and our Vietnamese/American community for this special celebration to commemorate the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces Day.  Our brave and dedicated Vietnamese/American veterans stood with us during the Vietnam War, and I am proud to continue to stand with them.  They and their families are a vibrant and beautiful part of the wonderful mosaic that is our Springfield community.”
