Mayor Sarno Brings Greetings at 26th Annual Women in Criminal Justice Conference

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined this morning with the Hampden County Sheriff Office, 2023 Honorary Chair of the Women in Criminal Justice Committee Kim Lee, and Jacqueline Moore of the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center who also chairs the Women in Criminal Justice Committee for the 26th Annual Women in Criminal Justice Conference which was held Friday morning at the Springfield Sheraton. The theme of this year’s conference was “Strength in Resiliency: A Woman’s Perspective.”

The keynote speaker was Regina Rush-Kittle, Chief Administrative Officer of the City of New Haven, who served in law enforcement for over three decades in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The honorary chair was Kimberley Lee, Chief of Creative Strategy and Development at MiraVista Behavioral Health Center.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to applaud Hampden County Sheriff Nick Cocchi, Jacqueline Moore of the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center, and 2023 Honorary Chair Kim Lee for continuing this wonderful event.  I was grateful to be there this morning and am proud to join and support all of our women in Criminal Justice as we come together to celebrate women locally, nationally and internationally in the criminal justice field and commemorate the accomplishments of the last 26 years. You continue to demonstrate resiliency and compassion – thank you.”
