On Friday, Feb. 21, former West Springfield High School standout Chris Torres’ current college team, the USC Upstate Spartans, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bowling Green Falcons.

The game took place at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park. This was their first matchup against the Falcons this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Cleveland S. Harley Baseball Park against Le Moyne Dolphins.
