Tuition for Massachusetts residents attending Holyoke Community College rose by 3.6% during the 2022-23 academic year, according to recently released data, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Residents of Massachusetts paid $5,570 to attend the two-year public college this year, an increase of $192 from the $5,378 charged in the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students paid $10,514 for the 2022-23 school year, which is 88.8% higher than the in-state rate. This amount reflects a 1.9% increase from $10,322 in 2021-22.

Approximately 99% of the undergraduate student body at Holyoke Community College are Massachusetts residents, while about 1% come from other states.

Data indicates that 76% of full-time undergraduates who began their studies at Holyoke Community College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. A total of 241 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $1.6 million, and 89 students obtained student loans exceeding $392,481.

Across all undergraduates, 1,989 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.7 million. Additionally, 850 students borrowed $4.7 million in federal student loans.
